Special Weather Statement
A band of snow will continue to move across the area through 7
AM. The snow will be light to moderate in intensity at times,
which combined with gusty winds of 35 to around 45 mph will reduce
visibilities under 1 mile. Most locations will receive under 1
inch of accumulation, however a few isolated 2 inch amounts are
possible north and west of the Quad Cities.
Roads, bridges, and overpasses may become slick and hazardous due
to the snowfall and temperatures dropping below the freezing
mark. If driving, slow down and allow extra following distance,
and plan on slippery travel for the morning commute.
