Patchy fog will continue to develop south of the I-16 corridor
through sunrise. The fog could become locally dense at times with
visibilities dropping to 1/4 mile or less. The nature of the fog is
such that visibilities will vary greatly over short distances with
the risk for locally dense fog being the greatest near bodies of
water and other low-lying areas such as marshes, swamps and large
ditches. Motorists should remain alert for these conditions this
morning.

Areas of fog are slowly expanding across much of the South Carolina
Lowcountry into Southeast Georgia. Conditions overnight will become

* WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 8 AM EDT Saturday.
For the High Rip Current Risk, through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best
swimmers away from shore into deeper water. Large breaking waves
may produce at least minor beach and dune erosion.

Flood Advisory
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast South Carolina, including the
following county, Jasper.
* WHEN...Until 1030 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 827 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Old House, Boyd, Okatie, Nevadum and Murad.
