Special Weather Statement
Areas of freezing drizzle will continue to move across the area
through 2 AM CST, before waning and moving off to the east.
This includes portions of Interstate 80 from the Quad Cities on
eastward into Illinois.
The freezing drizzle will gradually come to an end overnight. The
impact of the freezing drizzle and any ice glazing will be
greatest for roads that are not covered in snow already or have
treatments down for melting.
Be careful if moving about overnight as conditions may be more
slippery due to the combination of light snow cover and freezing
drizzle.
