Water Supply
This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The City of Calgary has issued a Water Supply alert.
A feeder main break along 16 Avenue Northwest has impacted the city’s water supply. Supply levels remain in a critical state, affecting the city’s ability to provide water to communities and ensure adequate water is available for firefighting.

Snowfall with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.
Where: Near Fernie.
When: Now through tonight.
Remarks: A frontal system moving through interior BC continues to brings snow tonight. Over southern sections of Elk Valley near Fernie 10-15 cm more snowfall is expected tonight. Snow will ease Wednesday morning as the system passes.

Water Supply
A water main break resulted in depressurization and potential water quality impacts. Water quality testing is ongoing. The Boil Water Advisory remains in effect.

For Calgary and areas near the foothills: Fog may be more patchy on Friday afternoon, but fog will generally continue into Saturday.
For Medicine Hat and areas closer to the Saskatchewan border: A change in wind direction is expected to allow fog to lift by Friday afternoon.
There is also a risk of freezing drizzle.
