Special Weather Statement
Snow will overspread the area late this evening into the early
morning hours. The snow will mainly be light, but could briefly
become moderate between 1am and 5am when snowfall rates may reach
one half inch per hour at times. Snowfall accumulations of 1-2
inches are expected with the highest amounts across the east end
of Long Island and eastern New Haven and Middlesex counties. Roads
will become snow covered and slippery. Use extra caution if
traveling overnight.
