Special Weather Statement
A combination of wind gusts of around 20 to 25 mph and relative
humidity values of 15 to 25 percent will create an elevated fire
weather danger this afternoon.
Recent dry weather has left fine fuels, such as grasses and leaf
litter dry and susceptible to ignition. Take precautions if
planning to do any outdoor burning today as conditions are
favorable for fire spread.

Special Weather Statement
A combination of northwest wind gusts to 20 to 30 mph and minimum
relative humidity values of 20 to 40 percent will create an
elevated fire danger today. The lowest humidity values (around
20-25 percent) will be along and south of US 30, west of I 69-
especially near White County, IN.
Furthermore, given the extreme drought in northwest Ohio and
portions of north-central Indiana, fine fuels-such as grasses and
leaf litter-are dry and susceptible to ignition. This is
especially the case in areas that did not receive as much
precipitation or snowfall in the last event.
Take precautions if planning to do any outdoor burning today as
conditions are favorable for fire spread.

Snow showers are possible across Central Indiana mainly late this
afternoon and into the evening. Snow accumulations around 1 inch

wet.
Temperatures today will remain steady or slowly falling through
the 30s. This with gusty winds of 20-30 mph will result in wind
chill values in the 20s.
Cold weather is expected to continue into Tuesday.
