Snow showers, and lake effect snow bands have set up across the region early this evening. Snow could be locally heavy at times, reducing visibility down to 1/4 mile at times. This coupled with the gusty winds, blowing snow and cold temperatures will create snow covered and slippery road conditions. Localized accumulations of 1 to 2 inches will be possible through 8 PM EST. If you are traveling this evening be prepared for rapidly changing weather and road conditions.
