has issued a BACKCOUNTRY AVALANCHE WARNING...
* WHAT...The avalanche danger is HIGH. Heavy snowfall and wind
will produce widespread avalanching.
* WHERE...The southern Salmon River, Sawtooth, White Cloud,
Smoky, Soldier, Boulder, and Pioneer Mountains, including the
mountains near Banner Summit, Stanley, Smiley Creek, Atlanta,
Galena Summit, Trail Creek Summit, and Dollarhide Summit.
* WHEN...In effect from Sun 06:45 MST to Mon 07:00 MST.
* IMPACTS...Natural and human-triggered avalanches large enough
to bury people, snap trees, and destroy structures will occur.
Avalanches may strike roadways, trails, and buildings in the
valley bottom.
