Special Weather Statement
Any snow that has melted or remains on roadways will refreeze as
temperatures will drop into the teens to 20s across much of
eastern Georgia by early Monday morning. Thus, patchy to
widespread black ice can be expected especially in areas that
received higher snowfall accumulations over the weekend. Exercise
caution during your morning commute especially along bridges,
overpasses and any untreated roadways. Additionally, be mindful
while walking on sidewalks, driveways and parking lots.
Temperatures will rise above freezing by Monday afternoon which
will help the melting process.

bridges and overpasses, primary and secondary roads, parking lots,
sidewalks and driveways.
Some isolated areas of freezing fog are also possible overnight
and in the early morning which could lead to some additional
