Locations likely to be impacted include Brisbane Metropolitan Area, Beaudesert, Boonah, Caboolture, Caloundra, Esk, Goondiwindi, Ipswich, Stanthorpe and Warwick.

The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 12:00 pm, a VERY DANGEROUS THUNDERSTORM likely to produce damaging, locally destructive winds, large, possibly giant hailstones and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding was detected. The thunderstorm is moving towards the east. The severe thunderstorm is forecast to affect Allora, the area northwest of Warwick and the area west of Warwick by 1:00 pm.

This thunderstorm is moving towards the southeast. It is forecast to affect Harrisville and the area south of Amberley by 3:20 pm.
Other severe thunderstorms likely to produce large hailstones, damaging winds and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding were detected near Caboolture, Noosa Heads, the area northwest of Esk, waters off Noosa Heads, northern Lake Wivenhoe and Dayboro. These thunderstorms are moving towards the east to northeast. They are forecast to affect the area north of Noosa Heads, Burpengary, Beachmere and Tewantin by 2:50 pm and Deception Bay waters, Toogoolawah, Mount Mee, Bribie Island, waters off Bribie Island and northern Bribie Island by 3:20 pm.
