-5 to 10 cm of snow fell over inland sections of Highway 16 and 37, and near Terrace last night. An additional 2 to 4 cm may fall early this morning before the transition to rain.
Additional hazards:
-Risk of freezing rain this morning for Terrace, Highway 37, 16, and Nisga'a Highway.
Remarks: An atmospheric river continues to impact the North Coast today bringing significant rainfall over a 24 to 36 hour period. Temperatures are cool enough inland that a mix of snow and rain continues early this morning before changing to rain. Strong, gusty southerly winds are forecast today and tonight.

Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected.
Where: Inland areas of the North Coast (East of Rainbow Summit along Highway 16)
When: Now to Thursday morning.
Remark:
A series of unstable troughs will bring snow, heavy at times, to the mainland areas of North Coast including the Highway 16 corridor, from now through Thursday morning.
The snow is expected to ease to a few flurries by Thursday afternoon.

Travel will likely be challenging. Visibility will likely be reduced at times.
