6 inches below 7,500 feet with higher amounts of 6 to 12 inches
above 7,500 feet. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Northern and Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Sandia
and Manzano Mountains including Edgewood, Far Northwest Highlands,
Tusas Mountains Including Chama, and Jemez Mountains.
* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 11 AM MST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Tire chains may be
necessary if traveling through mountain passes. The hazardous
conditions will impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will initially be high between
7,000 and 8,000 feet Wednesday evening before gradually lowering to
all areas late Thursday.
