Special Weather Statement
Strong south winds will gust 30-40 mph at times late this evening
and into the overnight hours over most of southeast Missouri, and
generally to the west of Interstate 57 in southern Illinois. The
gusty winds should diminish some before sunrise Wednesday. The
strong wind gusts will blow around unsecured objects and could
make driving difficult on east west oriented roadways.

amounting to up to a light glaze to a tenth of an inch.

Patchy dense fog can be expected across much of southeast
Missouri and southwest Illinois until just after midnight,
reducing visibilities to around a quarter mile or less.

Spotters, web cameras, and airport observations indicate patchy
dense fog developing across the region. The fog is not currently
widepread but a few locations report visiblity falling quickly to
