A frontal system will move onto the Central Coast today. Rain is expected to change to wet snow today as temperature falls. Snow, heavy at times, is forecast for tonight. Snow is expected to transition back to rain by Saturday morning as temperature rises.
There is uncertainty on the total snowfall amount as it depends on how quick and how much the temperature drops later today, and when the transition to rain will occur.
Rain on top of snow on Saturday may increase the weight of snow on structures.
