Fog will impact this morning's commute as the visibility will be
reduced to around a half of a mile in several areas. The fog
may become locally dense with the visibility down to a quarter
of a mile or less. The low visibility could make driving

Valley, especially along the Interstate 84 corridor in
Connecticut, in northern Putnam, and Orange County west of

mainly be light, but could briefly become moderate at times with
snowfall rates briefly reaching one half inch per hour at times.
Snowfall accumulations of 1-2 inches are expected with the
highest amounts across the east end of Long Island and eastern New
Haven and Middlesex counties. Roads will become snow covered and
slippery. Use extra caution if traveling overnight.
