Strong southerly winds gusting up to 60 km/h combined with falling snow will reduce visibility to less than 800 metres. Visibility will improve this afternoon as the wind subsides and snow becomes light.

Remarks: An Arctic ridge of high pressure is bringing very cold conditions to southern Yukon. Light winds combined with frigid temperatures will produce extreme wind chill values as low as minus 50.
Temperature and wind chill values will improve through the day.
