Special Weather Statement
As drought conditions continue to worsen, the combination of
increasingly dry fuels and low relative humidity values dropping
into the 20 to 30%, will result in elevated fire potential and
continued threat of adverse fire behavior.
Please consult your local burn permitting authorities as to
whether burning is allowed today. If you must burn, use extreme
caution, as fires can spread rapidly under these conditions.

will result in increased fire danger across western North
Carolina, the Upstate of South Carolina and northeast Georgia.
Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether
you can burn today. If you do burn, use extreme caution, as fires
can spread rapidly under these conditions.
