Overnight periods of light snow accumulation, as well as patchy
freezing drizzle, combined with temperatures falling into the
teens and 20s, have created the potential for slick and icy
conditions, primarily on untreated roadways, sidewalks and
driveways. Motorists are advised to use caution, allow extra
travel time and maintain increased stopping distance if traveling.

Snowfall of at least an inch is expected across the region, with
up to 2 inches possible. There is also the potential for brief
intense bursts of snow, especially between 10 PM and 3 AM. Where
these brief bursts of snow occur, visibility may drop suddenly,

West winds will become northwest overnight, gusting as high as 30
to even 35 mph. This may cause blowing snow over roadways, even as
the snow ends after 3 AM.

35-45 mph wind gusts and rapidly falling temperatures. As
temperatures quickly fall below freezing from west to east
throughout the day, standing water on roads and sidewalks may

accumulation outside of the higher mountain ridges.
