Snowfall with total amounts of 25 to 35 cm is expected.
Heavy snowfall is expected for much of southern Saskatchewan Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday.
A low pressure system will produce an area of heavy snow stretching from Meadow Lake southeastward to Estevan. Total snowfall accumulations are likely to be in the 25 to 35 cm range by Thursday morning.
The snow will taper off through the night on Wednesday.

Falling snow combined with strong easterly wind gusts of up to 80 km/h will reduce visibility in blowing snow through southern Saskatchewan beginning Tuesday morning. These strong winds will spread eastward through the day and reach southwestern Manitoba late Tuesday afternoon.
The winds will begin to slowly diminish Tuesday evening.

southwest across much of western and central North Dakota
this morning. Should this occur, the freezing drizzle could
deposit a thin layer of ice on untreated surfaces, resulting in
slippery roads and sidewalks and hazardous travel conditions. The
morning commute may be impacted.
Motorists should check road conditions before traveling. Do not
use cruise control when driving on icy roads, and leave plenty of
stopping distance ahead of you.
