The National Weather Service in Tulsa has issued a Fire Weather
Watch, which is in effect from Thursday morning through Thursday
evening.
* AFFECTED AREA...In Arkansas, Benton, Carroll, Washington, and
Madison counties. In Oklahoma, Osage, Washington, Nowata,
Craig, Ottawa, Pawnee, Tulsa, Rogers, Mayes, Delaware, Creek,
Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Wagoner, Cherokee, Adair, Muskogee, and
McIntosh counties.
* WIND...West to west-northwest at 15 to 25 mph, gusting 30 to 35
mph.
* HUMIDITY...15 to 20 percent.
* TEMPERATURE...Upper 60s to Lower 70s.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Special Weather Statement
Light snow and flurries continue across northwest Arkansas and
far eastern Oklahoma early this morning. Area observations and
traffic cameras indicate that visibilities are being reduced in
these bands to as low as two miles. A dusting of accumulation is
possible as well. Drivers should use extra caution if you
encounter roadways with any snow on them. The snow should taper
off by 3 am and skies will gradually clear.
