Special Weather Statement
Temperatures across much of interior southern New England have
risen to 32 degrees or just above. While conditions were
improving...some of the typical low-lying locations will continue
to see pockets of localized light freezing rain & freezing drizzle
into mid-morning. Motorists should drive with extra caution into
mid-morning especially when traveling across bridges and
overpasses. They may appear wet, but contain patches of black ice.
Temperatures should rise above freezing in all locations by mid-
morning, bringing an end to the icy travel.
