A very dry airmass this afternoon will result in an high fire
danger across southwest and south central Georgia today. Minimum
relative humidity will drop to around 20 percent this afternoon
with isolated locations possibly seeing relative humidities as
low as 15%. While light winds around 5 to 10 mph will keep more
critical concerns from developing, fuels are very dry, thus high
fire danger is expected.
Please refer to your local officials and burn permitting
authorities whether your may burn outdoors. If you do burn
outside, or have any activities that involve fire/sparks please
use extreme caution.
