Special Weather Statement
Areas of dense fog have formed over portions of Stark and Marshall
counties late this evening. Visibilities were at or below a quarter
mile in eastern Marshall county around Varna and southward. But
visibilities varied across these counties with some locations like
Lacon airport having visibilities above 4 miles. Areas of dense fog
should persist into early overnight, with visibilities gradually
improving later tonight as increasing north to northeast winds bring
drier air into the area.
Expect rapid changes in visibility over short distances, with
visibility possibly even near zero at times. Be sure to slow down
if you encounter dense fog. Use low beam headlights if driving, and
leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle ahead.
